General Information

Our Campus:
Price has about 10,000 people and is located two hours southeast of Salt Lake City. Our location in the heart of Castle Country is ideal for relaxed, serious learning environment away from the pressures of a big-city life. Tours of the campus can be arranged by contacting the Office of Prospective Students, (435) 613-5217, 613-5268, or 613-5611.

Recreational Opportunities:
College of Eastern Utah, located in Utah's scenic Castle Country, allows for a variety of recreational opportunities. Castle Country offers immediate access to some of the best fishing and camping spots in the state, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, river running, and is home to a popular and challenging 18 hole golf course.

Visitation:
Students share their living spaces with each other in order to study and socialize. College guidelines are observed in order to encourage good living and learning relations. Guidelines also protect students rights to privacy and quiet times.

Quiet Hours:
Since every effort is made to make the residence halls conducive to study and sleep, reasonable quiet hours should be observed. The halls have specific quiet hours which students will be expected to support and maintain.

Food Service:
EagleCard:   All residents are issued a meal plan card called the "Eaglecard."  Apartment residents are required to purchase a card containing a $100.00 balance.  Residents living in suites or Sessions Hall are required to purchase a card containing a balance of $725.00, $825.00 or $925.00 (depending on plan selected).  The Eaglecard functions like a bank debit card, with each meal purchased reducing the balance on the card.  Residents are free to choose selections a la carte from Emmett's Cove Dining Court and/or the Golden Grille Snack Bar.  Additional Eaglecard dollars may be purchased in $50.00 increments.  No sales tax is charged for Eaglecard purchases, thus saving 7.25% vs. restaurant or grocery store purchases.   Meal plans exist to encourage consistent, healthy eating habits, which in turn promote good health and improved performance in academics and other activities.  Unused Eaglecard balances expire at the end of each semester.
